Easy Day

Since the day before we were up at 6 am back from the boat at 5pm, we decided to take it easy on our third day in Exmouth.  We drove out to Cape Range to see the views from the mountains and go through the canyon.

On our way out of town, we saw some emus hanging out in a parking lot in town.

The views on the range and in the canyon were gorgeous.  It was very windy though and several times I felt a little unsettled on top of a cliff, taking pictures as a big gust of wind came through.

After a couple hours out, we head back to the hotel to do laundry.  I relaxed by the pool while we had three loads of laundry going.  I don't mind doing laundry like that!

We went to dinner in town at Whaler's.  Luckily we had reservations, as it was packed.  I usually don't eat red meat but I went with the filet and it was definitely the best meal I have had in Australia so far.  Glenn got the snapper fish and chips.  He really liked it to.  There was live music with a lady singing and playing her guitar.  She was good and it made the night even more perfect.
